Missionary support

Missionary Support

Over the years the congregation of Ebrington PC has supported mission in seeking to understand and obey the command of Jesus Christ, who said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” Matthew 28:19a.

The agencies that we support vary from locally developed Christian work among young people to mission agencies with a well-established track record working overseas. In addition we seek to support our denominations work both here and overseas through the Presbyterian Church in Ireland’s (PCI) United Appeal.

You can find out more about the variety of PCI’s work by clicking on the link below.

The Leprosy Mission

Over the years many in our congregation have kept up-to-date with the work of the Leprosy Mission. Below is a direct link to their website.

Helping Hands Ministry aims to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ by showing his love in a practical manner and supporting outreach in Romania with the necessary funds, materials and facilities. The Ministry supports youth work in various villages in Romania and will organise youth camps with the vision of cross culture study groups, training provided for delivery of a presentation on various subjects, interview training, teaching on filling out application forms for applying for jobs or financial support forms for family matters, also running courses on health and hygiene matters.

Here is the latest prayer update from David, posted November 2020…

Further details can be found on the leaflet in the pews or on the website: https://www.presbyterianchildrenssociety.org

You can give by using the envelope in the pews or posted through your letter box.  Then place the filled-in envelope in the offering plate (as you enter the church building).  Alternatively you can arrange for one of the collectors to pick-up your envelope.   Please phone Mrs Yvonne Rowan to arrange this.   Mobile: 07736838606
